Rustic white

More lovely, white interiors, quite different from the white apartment I featured earlier in the week. These are slightly more rustic, matt whites as opposed to gloss and the end result is definitely more casual but still lovely.

Fresh white

I absolutely love this apartment, everything about it, the fresh white walls and simple furniture, the wooden floorboards, the interesting little decor pieces and of course the sunlight streaming in through the lovely big windows. It's looks so light and airy and calm, I'd move in any day, don't you agree?

Starlings

There's a great little coffee shop that I think all Capetonians should know about, tucked away on Belvedere Road, Starlings is so quaint and pretty. Full of unusual, rustic decor and with a lovely back garden perfect for sunny days, serving delicious treats and meals, it's a definite must visit!

Last week I came across the work of Dolan Geiman, which is described as contemporary art with a Southern accent. I love his use of mixed media and salvaged wood and his subject matter, I can definitely see one of these up in my home...
